MWEA will be celebrating its 101st year as an organization!

The 101st MWEA Annual Conference will be held at Boyne Mountain Resort in Boyne Mountain, June 15th-18th, 2026.
*NEW THIS YEAR* Conference format moving forward will be a Monday-Thursday schedule!
About the Conference
The 2026 conference begins on Monday, June 15th. If you arrive Sunday or early on Monday morning, you may want to participate in the Annual Conference Golf Scramble or Canoe/Kayak with the Water For People Paddle with Purpose, both of which take place before the Welcome Reception on Monday evening at the Beach House on Deer Lake!
The conference then continues from Tuesday through Thursday with Technical Sessions.
TUESDAY after Technical Sessions conclude begins several networking and social opportunities. Join your peers for a complimentary Beer & Wine Tasting Mixer and Fudraister hosted by the MWEA Water For People committee. Then head over to the Expo Hall - visit with exhibitors, complete your exhibit passport, and have a chance at winning some fantastic prizes! Finally, gather around the bonfire outside the Expo Hall and toast marshmallows for your s'mores.
Technical Sessions have EXPANDED to include a 4th session on Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning, as well as THREE technical sessions on Thursday morning before the Closing General Session. Additionally, a full hot LUNCH is also included as part of the Closing General Session.
Cost to Attend
- MWEA/WEF Member Rate FULL Conference: $815*
- *Late Rate adds $100 if registered after June 1
- Non-Member Rate FULL Conference: $935*
- *Late Rate adds $100 if registered after June 1
- Retired/Student FULL Conference Rate: $300
- Speaker: Free for speaking day / $400 for FULL conference
- Award Winner/Scholarship Recipient: Free on Wednesday for Award Ceremonies/$400 for FULL conference

- If you have guests joining you at the conference, you can purchase meal tickets for them. They cannot attend any sessions (regular conference registration is required.)
- All 9 Conference Meals Package: $300
- A La Carte Meals: Breakfast: $30 - Lunch: $40 - Dinner: $50
Award Ceremonies
The 2026 Award Winners will be recognized at ceremonies on Wednesday, June 17th during the conference. MWEA Award Recipients as well Scholarship Recipients will be recognized during Wednesday's luncheon. WEF Award Recipients, as well as the Dan Wolz Clean Water Award for Environmental Excellence will be recognized during Wednesday evening's dinner, along with outgoing Board of Directors awards and the Passing of the Gavel from MWEA's Outgoing President, Majid Khan to MWEA's Incoming President, Erica Morgan.
